Jack Rinella, author of The Master's Manual, The Compleat Slave, Partners In Power, and The Toy Bag Guide to Clips and Clamps is a freelance writer and college instructor.  A sought-after lecturer, Jack has presented across the country, including the Leather Leadership Conference, Black Rose, Bash at the Beach, Beat Me in St. Louis, TES, Headspace in Bloomington, IN, PEER in Cincinnati, and Menamore Leather/Levi Club in Wilmington, NC.

Goddess Lakshimi is Ms World Leather 2003, Proud author of her Book "Safe Beginnings", as well as President and Founder of Global Learning Academy of Knowledge and Servitude, or simply, G.L.A.K.S. G.L.A.K.S. is an Academy where training is available to all who desire to learn the different aspects of the BDSM Lifestyle. She is also an advisor to "Immediate Family," a Non Profit organization, that helps those in the BDSM lifestyles who are in need, and former advisor and honorary member of "Power and Trust".

Catherine Gross is a sex educator, consultant, writer and certified personal coach. She offers classes that focus on physical skills, Master/slave relationships, dominance and submission, improving your sex life, personal development, house management, service, keeping relationships healthy and much more.

She has served on both local and national boards, judged contests, staffed conferences in a variety of positions, and emceed and produced fundraisers for several charities and organizations. She is currently the co-producer of SouthEast LeatherFest in Atlanta, GA.

Laura is best known these days for her "Marketplace" series of novels, but back in the beginning, when pickings for good and readable porn was slim, Laura created the groundbreaking "Leatherwomen" anthologies, and edited several others. Some of the work she created for those anthologies are reprinted in The Catalyst and Other Tales. Laura's work has been published in the United States, Germany, Japan, and Korea, to international acclaim. Her short stories and non-fiction essays also appear in other anthologies, a full listing of which can be found at Books.

Popular, return-presenter, Scott Smith, grew up in the Seattle area of the northwestern United States and began exploring the facets of S&M at a very early age. During his youth Scott thrived on extreme sports and excelled in white water rafting, scuba diving, mountain climbing, free-hand rock climbing, and paramedical rescue. As a result of the powerful physical reactions he developed in these life adventures with nautical and high angle rope work and in conjunction with his creative and rather deviant mind, he enthusiastically developed the many great BDSM techniques he uses today in teaching courses at leather events like Thunder in the Mountains. As both a teacher and a player Scott brings a distinct intensity and passion to the ebb and flow of the lessons he presents and of actualizing BDSM in a manner that is often unforgettable to the audiences who flock to his seminars.

Bob Deegan is widely recognized as this country's premier handler of the single tail whip, reaching a level of mastery never seen before. His single tail artistry represents the definitive body of knowledge and repertoire of skills found in the scene. He has been the catalyst for the spreading popularity of the single tail in the country over the last five years. The techniques developed and introduced by him have become the modern standard for a new generation of teachers and students alike.
